About motifs as elements of political propaganda…

Description

Statistical wallpapers. Documented anticipation is a selection of samples and prototypes of wallpaper, from 1610 to the near future. In addition to being decorative, the wallpaper also serves as a support system for political ideologies, particularly when used to in institutional buildings: royalty, the Revolution of 1789, the Empire, the Restoration, the First World War, the Soviet Revolution of 1917, the Vichy regime, the Liberation… all generated specific motifs, which were sometimes used one after another in the same place.
It is possible that wallpaper in the third millennium could replace the directly political symbols with statistical patterns.
In what world, in what (im)possible near future will political symbols be replaced by statistical patterns on wallpaper?
