About measuring the duration of visibility of a film

Description

A jar is on a table. The visitor pours water in the jar, and a film appears at the bottom of the jar.

A smiling eye looks back. The silhouette of someone beckoning to the visitor can be seen reflected in the eye. The water flows out of a small hole. The film dispappears as the water level goes down. It is visible as long as the water flows. The visitor can refill the jar with water to see the film again. A magnifying glass hides the images, like in Chinese restaurant sake cups. The water counter-acts the magnifying glass and makes the film visible.
